This contemporary artwork portrays the Renaissance and medieval town of Montepulciano in Tuscany, Italy. This beautiful town is built into the hillside. I visited this town when I participated in the Cianchiano Biennale in 2011. I collected some rare antique books in the town, some pages of which are added to this abstract artwork. This landscape painting depicts the town's winding main street and houses to the top where the 16th century cathedral Santa Maria Assunta sits along with the signature Tuscan Cypress trees.
