This contemporary artwork is an abstract artwork, a landscape painting of Mt Coolum and the surrounding forest. This is my impression of the view from my studio at Power Court where my studio was based for 10 years. Mt Coolum is a sacred mountain on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland in Australia. The flora and fauna at Mt Coolum don't exist anywhere else in the world and this mountain is a monolith, as is Uluru. Mt Coolum is an icon of the Australian landscape.
