Bougainvillea Driveway. Oil, enamel on plastic. 120 x 160 cm.

This landscape painting reflects the view from my art studio in 2016. The bougainvillea hung across the driveway in front of the studio door with a perfect Australian blue sky behind it. The composition of this work recreates the bougainvillea framed in the studio doorway against the backdrop of the brilliant Australian blue sky. A contemporary and abstract artwork which captures the view as I captured the Australian landscape in suburbia in the art studio.
